Parents Day
Out (PDO) – 781-2011 - (PDO) is a fee- based service program for
the parents and children in our church and community. We provide a
reliable and pleasant place for parents to leave their children.
Children 3 months of age through Pre-K may attend the program. We are
a non-profit organization and the fees we charge go toward the
expenses of the program. Our program is in compliance with the state
health and safety rules. Children must have a reservation.

Transitional Housing offers displaced families a disciplined
educational program within a caring Christian environment. Unlike
many organizations whose focus is immediate or emergency care,
Hillcrest’s objective is to move families from homelessness to
self-sufficiency within 90 days by addressing the total live
situation of the homeless families they serve. In exchange for
rent/utility-free housing, residents are required by written
agreement to work full time, obey program guidelines and attend
volunteer-taught classes in life skills, employment, community living
and budgeting. Hillcrest also provides the following through a
network of community support: auto repair/donation, food pantry,
medical assistance, dental work, GED classes, haircuts, glasses,
school clothes, work uniforms, etc.

In As Much volunteers collect and sort non-perishable goods, clothes,

United in Clay County a number of years ago. The World Outreach
Committee provides a box for donations and takes the clothing donated
to the Clothes Closet in Kansas City North to be distributed to those
that need it. School Children in a primary focus. Must be
referred by social service organization, church, or school.

of Legal Aid of Western Missouri (LAWMO) is to provide the highest
